Positive thinking and affirmations are easy to put to the side when things are not going your way.  And if you believe in God, the question that you may find yourself often wondering is, “Why doesn’t God answer my prayers?”  The typical answer that you often hear to this question is, “Well, God does answer prayers – it’s just that sometimes the answer is NO.”

But have you ever thought that maybe it is you who are saying ‘No’ to the benefits of positive thinking and your affirmations and not God.  Perhaps it is you who are saying ‘No; to whatever it is you desire.  Remember, whatever you project into the universe is returned to you amplified.  If you have a ‘lack’ mentality, then you will definitely ‘lack’ in life.  You must have faith enough to believe that everything you need and desire is right there for – just waiting for you to claim it.

You must learn to use daily positive thinking and affirmations in your life on a daily basis in order to achieve the goals that you set for yourself.  One of the first things that you must do is to spend time working on your goals.  In order to get started with this process requires you to sit down and take inventory in your life.

What does this mean?  It means that you should find your purpose in life and spend time thinking about how you would like to spend the rest of your life.  You should also remember that a generous and giving nature is a gift and will be rewarded, but only if it is genuine.  You may fool yourself, but you cannot fool the universe o this one.

You must allow yourself to visualize how it feels to be where you want to be.  Develop a clear picture in your mind and be sure to express it clearly to others also.  There are other things that you can do to put positive thinking and affirmations to work for you.  Stick around and we will continue this discussion in our next post.
